The Activ8 coaching philosophy is deeply rooted in preparing high school and collegiate athletes for the intensity of collegiate sports performance while challenging them to continue developing their athletic abilities. Evolving athletic performance starts by assessing each athlete’s strengths and deficiencies.
The summer packet of a D1 athlete at a Power 5 school is a hefty thing. At the beginning of the summer I was feeling a little bit overwhelmed by the prospect of it all! I gave my packet to Activ8 with a cry for help! They not only helped me achieve all of my teams fitness standards but have one of the highest scoring Yo-Yo scores on the team! I could not have done it without them and am definitely coming back next summer!!

The trainers are so kind and really know how to encourage the athletes positively. They helped me get ready for my fall season of college field hockey and I will definitely be coming back for my breaks. I feel a lot more prepared for college just from a couple of weeks of working with them. Definitely recommend for personal training.

When you see an athlete train on social media, they are usually working at a high intensity and getting after it. Although those sessions are great and essential, what doesn’t get shown is the functional and corrective exercises that help the athlete take care of their body.

At certain points in an athlete’s career we face obstacles that seem insurmountable. It’s in those moments that you take a deep breath and make up your mind to continue or stop. When it’s all said and done most of us can think back to one of these moments in our career.
Caroline H. decided to continue. Based on the way she’s trained over the summer, it doesn’t seem like the task of returning to the lacrosse field is as insurmountable as it once seemed.
